Nails
Nail services that reveal your inner elegance
Nail extensions and nail art finished with the kind of precision that shows a week later, not just on the day.

Our approach
Nails done properly, start to finish
The quiet craft of nails
Great nails do not announce themselves. They are noticed when you reach for something, when you glance down mid-conversation. Precision is the point.
Built to last, not just to look good
Preparation is where most nail work falls short. At Beauty by Kitty, the prep gets as much attention as the finish. That is why the results hold.
Your hands, elevated
Whether it is a clean nude set or something with real personality, the result is always deliberate. Nothing generic, nothing rushed.

Your questions answered
How often should I get my nails done?
Initially we recommend returning at 2 to 2.5 weeks so any early issues can be caught and assessed. Once the durability of your nails has been established, appointments can be extended to every 3 to 4 weeks. We do not recommend leaving it longer than 4 weeks. Even if your nails look intact, ongoing growth and daily impact can compromise retention and lead to problems before your next visit.
How do I know which gel is right for my lifestyle?
Lifestyle is the main factor. At your first appointment, we will ask about how you use your hands day to day and observe how your nails wear over the following visits. We generally recommend starting with hard gel to build strength, then reassessing at your follow-up, which should be around 2 to 2.5 weeks later.
Do I need to take a break from getting my nails done?
No. This is a common misconception. The grown-out portion of your nail is not living tissue and does not need oxygen to stay healthy. Nail health comes from within. Staying hydrated and well-nourished has far more impact than taking a break. Keep up with your appointments and let your nail technician take care of the rest.
Can I get gel nails if I have had an allergic reaction before?
In most cases, yes. It is important to share your history with your nail technician so the right precautions can be taken. A common solution is switching to HEMA-free products, as HEMA is the ingredient most often responsible for gel-related irritations. Choosing the right product for your skin can make a significant difference.
What is the difference between soft gel and hard gel nails?
There is no right or wrong answer, it depends on the individual. Both gels protect and strengthen the natural nail, but they behave differently. Soft gel is more flexible and moves with the nail, making it versatile for most lifestyles. Hard gel is rigid and durable, better suited to those who are tough on their hands. Your nail technician will help determine which is right for you.
